: Software requirements :

 - Adobe Photoshop - minimum 7.0 (critical, in order to use the actions)
 - Adobe Bridge - minimum 1.0 (optional, for multiple file processing)

: Instalation :

- Unzip and copy the 7 PSD files to "C:\W3Actions\PSDLayers\"
- Install the provided action set

: Usage information :

If you have Adobe Photoshop installed, you might want to use these 7 actions included in 1 action set, in order to reduce the time required to create the BTN, DISBTN, PASBTN, DISPASBTN, Autocast, AttackType and Upgrade images for your 64x64 / 48x48 designs!!
I have included these actions and PSD documents to grant you more control over the bordering process. You may consider using W3IR's bordering feature on the final versions of your designs. These actions are recommended to be used while still editing the design or f you decide that you want to stick to Photoshop.
In order to use them, please copy the 7 PSD files to "C:\W3Actions\PSDLayers\" and install the provided action set. The actions have been defined in Adobe Photoshop CS 2, yet I hope they will work on other versions of Photoshop as well, though I didn't get the chance to personally test if they can be used by other versions of Photoshop, except Photoshop CS 2 and Photoshop 7 (thus CS should accept them too).
The actions suppose you already have the image resized down to 64x64 pixels, the valid dimensions for use with Warcraft3. They will not resize your images to 64x64, in order to prevent the loss of potential unrecoverable data. If you choose to use the actions on a document with multiple layers, please make sure you select the top-most (the first) layer of your document PRIOR to using any of the actions.
The actions add one more layer, corresponding to the type of border chosen by you. If this layer is added below any layer involved in the overall design, the output will differ from the desired result. For correct AttackType and Upgrade resources, scale a single-layered version of your design to 48x48, leaving the canvas set to 64x64 pixels. Move the layer from the top-left corner of your document exactly 4 pixels to the right and 4 down. Apply the desired border (AttackType or Upgrade) above this layer - the images will fit 100%.

If you want to process multiple files at once, open Adobe Bridge and go to "Tools / Photoshop / Image processor". This will start Photoshop (if it wasn't already running in the background) with the "Image Processor" dialog. Select what settings you find appropriate to your purpose and don't forget to check the "Run Action:" checkbox in the last panel, "(4) Preferences" panel, where you can select "Warcraft3 Icon Manufacturing" then the action you desire (supposed you installed the provided Photoshop action sets).

Please make sure not to overwrite files when you work with the combination Adobe Bridge + Adobe Photoshop!
